the web for doctors is that it contains a wealth
of medical information which is increasing daily
- it’s like the world’s largest medical
library, which is open 24 hours.
However, this vastness is its Achilles’
heel as well, because the information is not organised
logically or systematically.
This is hardly surprising, considering the fact
that the Web is a free for all jungle - everyone
can publish on it ! This means that for every
good site, there are likely to be ten bad sites.
With so many thousands of medical sites, it’s
easy to get lost in this maze.
